Robert Downey Jr says Iron Man would support Hillary Clinton.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters this weekend and Robert Downey Jr. is stepping inside the ring of another major war, the upcoming American Presidential election. And he believes Tony Stark would prefer Hillary Clinton as president of the United States.

The actor revealed his thoughts on his superhero character during a promotional appearance for Civil War on The Howard Stern Show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“I believe Tony, being a budding feminist, he would say it’s time to have some feminine energy in the White House,” Downey said. Asked if that could be taken as a sign that Tony Stark supports Clinton, he confirmed, “He does.”
