Will Ice Cube play Green Lantern?
Fans are interested in bringing the Green Lantern movie to life. There are names that have consistently come up including Idris Elba, Nate Parker and Michael B. Jordan. In the age of the internet, fans will come up with anything, and sometimes they actually work! In fact, so,eone thought that Ice Cube would make a perfect fit for Green Lantern and shared some pretty awesome fan art. Hollywood director Kevin Smith then posted this on Twitter:

Kevin Smith is one of the most powerful voices in the comic book industry. His analysis is usually spot on, and I personally value his opinion. In this case, I can’t tell if he is joking or he’s being serious. It has been rumored that Ice Cube will be cast as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but if that falls through it would not surprise me to see Ice Cube in the mix for John Stewart for the Green Lantern Corps movie in 2020.
