‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ will have fewer characters in the sequel.
One of the biggest issues with Marvel and DC franchise movies is that there are way to many characters. The cinematic universe is so large that when an actor leaves or another actor joins the cast, nobody cares. But, it looks like Marvel has plans to change all of that.
James Gunn, the director behind ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ decided to cut the number of characters in the movie for part two.
…There’s just too many characters, so you can’t concentrate on one and really get to know that character. I really want to get to know the characters that we know better, and yeah, we will be introducing a new character…
My biggest issue about Marvel movies is that there are so many characters that serve little to no importance to the movie. So, if James Gunn is trimming back and letting the real cast shine, all the better. As long as we bring back Nick Fury to the franchise, I will be okay!
