Sony Pictures released a teaser trailer for the Atlanta-filmed Superfly movie.
Directed by legendary director Director X, the movie is a remake of the world-famous blaxploitation movie that helped define a genre in its characters, sound, and feel. The screenplay is written by Alex Tse.
The movie features Trevor Jackson, Jason Mitchell, Michael Kenneth Williams, Lex Scott Davis, and Jennifer Morrison.
Project Casting shared dozens of casting calls for actors, models, and dancers to work on the movie as it filmed earlier this year.
