FX ‘Chozen’ and FXX ‘Legit’ Cancelled

Date:

FXX has cancelled Legit and the animated series Chozen.

Last night’s season finale of Legit will also become the series finale for comedy series. Deadline reports that FX has chosen to cancel the sophomore comedy show along with the FX animated series Chozen.

Chozen wrapped their 10 episodes in March 31st and the show centered on a gay white rapper who is fresh out of prison. The show featured Eastbound and Down’s Danny McBride.

Legit centered on the wild adventures of Jefferies, an Australian comedian living in Venice California with his divorced best friend.

FX Network CEO, John Landgraf said in a statement that FX and FXX planned on increasing the amount of original content in the next year. So, with the cancellations of both series, expect a ton of new shows to join the networks.
