Fear The Walking Dead ratings rise.
Episode 2 of Fear the Walking Dead Season 2 has pulled in 5.58 million viewers for AMC last week. However, it was the Live +3 ratings – ratings that include DVR playbacks – that were extremely impressive.
More and more people are choosing to DVR their favorite shows to watch at their own convenience. As a result many networks now use the Live +3 rating, which includes three days of DVR playbacks, to properly determine how a series is doing.
Episode 2, “We All Fall Down” managed to snag the top spot as the most viewed cable show of the night with 5.52 million viewers, it was also the biggest increase for a cable TV show in the Live +3 ratings for the week of April 11-17, which is pretty impressive for the most watched show on television.
In addition, Fear The Walking Dead ratings managed to increase by 1.2 points in the adults 18-49 category, going from 2.5 to 3.7, which means 3.7 percent of all households tuned in to watch the show. Ratings also increased from 5.58 to 7.78 million.
Fear The Walking Dead returns with Episode 4 “Blood in the Streets” on Sunday, May 1st.
