While #StarbucksBoycott is going viral and some of the biggest CEOs in the world are discussing Donald Trump’s immigration executive order, one actress is getting dragged through the mud for criticizing Donald Trump.
Jennifer Lawrence voiced her frustration with President Trump’s immigration ban on Facebook.
“My broken heart goes out to the innocent lives of Muslim refugees that are trying to escape terror and find safety for their families,” the Lawrence wrote. “I and millions of Americans understand that someone’s race or religion should never keep them in harm’s way.”
She added, “It should be every person’s duty to help and protect anyone no matter their nationality. I pray for sanity and compassion to return to the White House.”
One Facebook user responded by saying, ” So Jennifer Lawrence if you wanna see that s refugees you should come to sweeden or germany .You should see where these refugees live, not without reason that their settlements are called no-go zones.
People who go there are beaten sometimes murdered, not to mention the women who are raped by refugees. So if so much depend on their fate, go there without protection and try to walk alone after their settlement. I guarantee you that you will not feel safe there.”
Another user commented, “Why doesn’t your heart break for our homeless veterans, or the families of veterans
that died for this country, or for all of the people who have lost everything to floods and storms, and to the families of murdered police officers, and to those who are too poor to feed their children, or men who can’t find jobs to feed their families, and on and on. Your elitist attitudes are tiring and thoroughly disgusting. Get a grip and go read a script or something. No one cares what you celebrities think. You somehow all think you share some commonality with the rest of us, and are experts on everything. Guess what? No, you don’t.”
“And we pray for sanity and compassion to come back to Hollywood!!! You do NOT speak for me or 90% of the population, you will soon learn when everyone boycotts your movies and quite watching your bias shows and award shows where you find it relevant to bash our president every chance you get!,” another Facebook user commented on her Facebook page.
