Famous Hollywood Photographer Terry Richardson Fired After Sex Allegations

Date:

Model Emma Appleton alleges Terry Richardson sent a message offering photo shoot for the magazine, Vogue in exchange for sex.

According to TheWrap, a spokeswoman for Vogue said Sunday that the magazine will no longer work with Terry Richardson, after the allegations that the celebrity photographer offered a model the chance to be in the magazine in exchange for sex.

“The last assignment Terry Richardson had for U.S. Vogue appeared in the July 2010 issue and we have no plans to work with him in the future,” Hildy Kuryk, communications director for U.S. Vogue told TheWrap on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, British model Emma J. Appleton tweeted a screen grab of a message allegedly sent from Richardson’s Facebook account, which offered a Vogue photo shoot in exchange for sex. Richardson’s camp has denied the allegation.

Inquiries to Richardson from TheWrap were not immediately returned. However, Candice Marks, a spokeswoman for Richardson, told Buzzfeed, “This is obviously a fake. Terry did not send this text.”Equality Now Presents "Make Equality Reality" - Inside

Emma Appleton, who uploaded the photo onto her Twitter on Sunday, told Buzzfeed that it came from Richardson’s Facebook account. She would later delete the tweet and her account.

But prior to deleting her account she tweeted the following:

“beginning to wish I hadn’t posted that … it doesn’t matter who you are or what the industry is, just be a decent human being.”

“The fact people think this is acceptable blows my f—ing mind. See ya.”

Terry Richardson is also a music video director, and did “Wrecking Ball” for Cyrus, “Do What You Want” for Lady Gaga and “The Last Time” for Taylor Swift.
