‘Succession,’ ‘Ted Lasso,’ and ‘The White Lotus’ Lead the 2022 Emmy Nominations.
The ceremony will take place on Monday, September 12, at 8 p.m. ET.
The Television Academy on Tuesday unveiled the 2022 Emmy nominations, announced during a particular program hosted by chairman and CEO Frank Scherma and including JB Smoove and Melissa Fumero from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

HBO’s Succession leads the pack with 25 nominations, including one for outstanding drama, followed by HBO’s The White Lotus and Apple’s Ted Lasso, each receiving 20 nominations.
Several additional programs received double-digit nominations, including Hacks (17), Only Murders in the Building (17), Euphoria (16), Barry (14), Dopesick (14), Severance (14), Squid Game (14), Ozark (13), Stranger Things (13), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (12) and Pam & Tommy (10).
With 108 nominations, HBO dominated the competition among streaming platforms, receiving more nods than Netflix, which collected 105.
The 74th Emmy Awards will air on Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and the event has rotated between ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC since 2012. The ceremony normally airs on a Sunday night; however, if NBC has broadcast rights, it will air on Monday as the network airs NFL on Sunday evenings.
Reginald Hudlin, Ian Stewart, Byron Phillips, Jane Mun, and other producers will executive produce the three-hour live spectacle, with Hamish Hamilton directing. The Television Academy has not yet announced a host for this year’s ceremony.
