Disney Live-Action ‘Mulan’ Movie Coming Soon

Disney is developing a live-action version of ‘Mulan’.

According to reports, Disney is planning to make a live-action version of all of their popular cartoon movies. The next movie they plan to remake is the hit Disney classic, ‘Mulan’.

Disney is developing a live-action version of its 1998 animated movie “Mulan.”

The project is based on a script by Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek focused on the Chinese warrior character Hua Mulan. The project has been set up with Chris Bender and J.C. Spink. [Variety]

The original “Mulan” centered around a young woman who disguises herself as a man to take her father’s place in the army with her dragon friend Mushu. ‘Mulan’ grossed over $300 million worldwide and with the recent success of ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Maleficent’, and ‘Cinderella’, expect ‘Mulan’ to be an box office award winner.
