Former Disney Superstar Reveals Why He Walked Away From Millions of Dollars

Date:

Former Disney superstars, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, explain why they walked away from millions of dollars and stopped working on their acting career.

Child actors Dylan and Cole Sprouse spent their childhood making millions of dollars for Disney. Between, 2005 and 2008, the twins, previously known for appearing alongside Adam Sandler in ‘Big Daddy,’ starred in ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’, one of the most successful Disney shows of all time. By the time show aired its series finale, ‘The Suite Life’ had become one of only three Disney Channel Original TV shows to air over 65 episodes, helping land the Sprouse Bros. on People magazine’s list of the world’s wealthiest teens.

Disney wanted to make even more money off of Sprouse brothers with a spinoff of ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’ called ‘The Suite Life on Deck’. The show went on to become the top scripted series among teens for two years in a row beating Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana’.

By 2010, Dylan and Cole were the fourth highest paid kid actors in the world second to Selena Gomez. It was a shock for the two brothers and a year later, Dylan and Cole decided to walk away from Hollywood and Disney.

In 2013, Dylan Sprouse spoke out about what really happened in that meeting that made the twins opt for college instead of an acting career.
