‘Teen Wolf Star’ Apologizes After Pretending to Be Gay

Date:

Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey was bashed online after posting what appeared to be a coming out video to Snapchat, only to later reveal that it was not real.

Tyler Posey is seen in the Snapchat video posted Friday in front a sign for “Gay St,” saying “This is me. I am this and this is me. I’ve never felt more alive. I’m gay!”

Fans of TeenWolf applauded Posey for coming out at first, only to find out later he was only pretending. Posey apologized on Twitter. “Although I’m not gay, I fully support the LGBTQ community. This was a moment intended to reflect that.” He also apologized for downplaying “how big coming out is” for any of his LGBTQ fans.

However, many fans defended and bashed Tyler Posey on Twitter.
