Thanks in part to Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Jenner has made Forbes’ annual ranking of the world’s richest people.
According to Forbes, at 21 years old, the reality TV star and entrepreneur is the world’s youngest billionaire beating Mark Zuckerberg.
On Tuesday, Forbes released their annual ranking of the world’s richest people for 2019, announcing Jenner not only made the billionaire’s list for the first time but is the world’s youngest billionaire as well as the “youngest self-made billionaire of all time.”
Kylie Jenner is the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family and is currently ranked 2,057 out of 2,153 richest people in the world.
Forbes says Jenner’s wealth came from her make-up company, Kylie Cosmetics, which she founded in 2015 with the sale of lip kits, a set of liquid lipsticks and matching lip liner. Jenner has since expanded to a wide array of cosmetics including blush, highlighters, concealers, and eyeshadow palettes. She also launched makeup collaborations with her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West.
In 2018, Kylie Cosmetics made an estimated $360 million, according to Forbes and the company is said to be worth at least $900 million, with Jenner owning 100% of the company.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian West is the second-richest person in the family with a networth of $350 million.
