Kylie Jenner’s blacklivesmatter comment sparks controversy.
After going viral on social media, Kylie Jenner wants you to know that she did not respond to a hater on Instagram who called her a “wannabe black girl” by noting she supports the Black Lives Matter movement. On Monday, Jenner posted on Twitter a screenshot of the supposed conversation, saying it was “fake” before deleting her tweet.
It started with Kylie Jenner posting a photo from TheShadeRoom that shows an Instagram follower bashing her, “You turned yourself into a light skin wanna be black girl,” before asking, “what have you done for the #blacklivesmatter movement.” The angry fan finishes her rant by calling Jenner a “hypocritical drag queen looking hoe.” Jenner seemingly responded to the Instagram hater, based on the screenshot, by telling her, “I support blacklivesmatter.”
Kylie Jenner took a screengrab of the alleged conversation, posted it on Twitter, and wrote alongside the image, “BTW.. this is fake.” The reality star then quickly clarified in a separate tweet, “Not saying that’s what I don’t support.. it’s just fake.”She would delete her tweets 30 minutes later.
The pair of tweets received mixed reactions from fans.

@KylieJenner so what I’m trying to understand is if you do support the BlackLivesMatter movement. Or if you even have an opinion on it. — Amy (@omgamalia) December 21, 2015

@KylieJenner It was pretty clear to me that you said the picture was fake, not that you don’t support blacklivesmatter. — Belén (@Belcarp) December 21, 2015
@KylieJenner so you don’t support #BlackLivesMatter
