Leonardo DiCaprio has just apologized to Lady Gaga after the Golden Globe Awards incident.
The Revenant actor had a surprising excuse for his reaction to the singer’s win, which we highlighted in the past but, according to reports, there is more to the story.
According to Radar Online’s sources, Lady Gaga’s fiancé, Taylor Kinney, confronted DiCaprio after the Golden Globes. Kinney allgedly asked DiCaprio to apologize to Lady gaga for his “rude and unprofessional” behavior. “Leonardo made good on this later that night, when he apologized to her and Taylor at the CAA after-after party at the Sunset Tower Hotel.”
After the apology, “They all partied there all night long and laughed it off,” the insider told Radar. “Leonardo said that this was the last time he would drink before the award show.” He told reporters that his reaction was a just an honest surprise.
Apparently, Lady Gaga is happy that Leonardo DiCaprio laughed at her. “Gaga actually is quite happy about this whole thing now,” the source told Radar Online continued. “That little incident got so much pickup that it only made her win that much bigger!”
