Bryan Cranston Shares Inspiring Acting Advice: It’s Not About Winning, It’s About “Telling Stories”

Date:

Bryan Cranston is the true definition of a hard working actor, this latest interview proves it.

Despite sharing one of the best pieces of acting advice in recent history, receiving SAG and Golden Globe nominations for his role in Trumbo, and winning four Emmys and a Tony for Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston can care less about awards.

“I don’t yearn for any award. I love to work, and I love telling stories .?.?. It’s our nature to be told stories, and if you’re really lucky, you get to make a living out of it,” he said at an Elyx House reception hosted by Jonah Hill, Aaron Paul and Harvey Weinstein, according to PageSix.com

Even so, he won’t be returning to any future Oscar ceremonies: “If people want to recognize [me], I’m thrilled .?.?. but it’s not at all what I think about or focus on. It’s someone else’s realm.”

And honestly, I believe Bryan Cranston. After winning his first Emmy, Bryan Cranston shared the single best piece of audition advice I have ever heard. You can watch the video below:
