14-Year-Old Model Accuses Kylie Jenner’s Boyfriend Tyga of Sending ‘Uncomfortable’ Messages

Date:

A 14-year-old aspiring model and singer claims that rapper/reality star Tyga started an unwated and “uncomfortable” contact with her online.

Molly O’Malia came forward on Monday during a press conference with legendary attorney Gloria Allred after a tabloid published a story suggesting she and the rapper had a sexual relationship.

O’Malia, who cried as she spoke to reporters, said their conversations never extended beyond social media and that she ended their relationship when he tried to meet up with her in person .

“The truth is that Tyga contacted me first. He direct messaged me on Instagram. I knew who he was but I was surprised that he was contacting me,” she said in a statement. “I thought that it could possibly be about my music, but he did not mention that in his initial communication with me. I thought that was strange, but I was thinking he would bring that up in his next message to me. However, he didn’t mention it in the next message.”

“I began to feel uncomfortable when he asked me to FaceTime with him,” she continued. “He asked me to FaceTime 3 times, but I did not do it. Because of my discomfort with why he wanted to communicate with me I quickly stopped responding to him. It’s crazy how so much can come out of nothing.”

O’Malia said she’s speaking out “because I don’t want what happened to me to happen to any other young girl.”

O’Malia’s mother also said in a statement criticizing OK! magazine for “falsely [insinuating] that there was an inappropriate sexually suggestive relationship going on between Tyga and Molly.”

O’Malia’s attorney, Allred, is one of the most high-profile and powerful civil rights attorney in the country. She is currently representing Bill Cosby’s accusers and according to her latest statement, sounds like she is going to defend the 14-year-old aspiring model saying, “feels that it is completely inappropriate for an adult male to communicate with her 14-year-old daughter, ask for her phone number and ask when she is coming to L.A.”

Tyga, 26, has been on vacation with his eighteen year old girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, in Mammoth Lakes, California. His relationship with Kylie sparked controversy as they suspected to be dating since she was underage.

O’Malia’s mother says Tyga contacted her daughter “a few weeks ago,” but it’s unclear if the alleged incident overlapped at all with Kylie and Tyga’s brief breakup in November.

Since the accusations, Tyga has responded by saying he only talked to her because she could sing.

From TMZ:

Tyga had a convo with a 14-year-old model Molly O’Malia … but ONLY to scout her musical talent after his team became interested in signing her as a singer… this according to a rep for the rapper.

Tyga’s manager Anthony Martini tells TMZ the rapper reached out to 14-year-old Molly O’Malia after his team found out she had a pretty strong musical following online and thought she might be a candidate for a Last Kings Records project … his record label. Tyga claims it was strictly business and completely PG. As for her age — according to text messages obtained by TMZ … Molly mentions she is 17.
