Jared Leto took method acting to a whole new level for the movie Suicide Squad.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, How to Get Away With Murder star Viola Davis was asked about working with Jared Leto on set of Suicide Squad.
“He did some bad things, Jared Leto did,” she said. “He gave some really horrific gifts. He had a henchman who would come into the rehearsal room, and the henchman came in with a dead pig and plopped it on the table, and then he walked out. And that was our introduction into Jared Leto.”
It must feel good to be bad. Viola Davis’ character was in charge of putting together a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful weapons the government had at their disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat a super villain.
According to the comics, U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller was determined only creating a secret group of horrible individuals with nothing to lose. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen because they will most likely fail, the Suicide Squad joins together.
