Production for CBS pilot ‘Red Zone’ is ramping up and producers are casting actors to work on the project.
CBS Pilot from the producer of ‘Revenge’, Nikki Toscano is scheduled to start filming this April in Wilmington, North Carolina.
According to WTOC, The Executive Vice President of EUE/Screen Gems Studio, Bill Vasser announced last Monday night that the production will film in Wilmington. Toscano is expected to write and executive produce the pilot. The series centers on a retired CIA operative who, after a terrorist attack rocks Washington D.C., is pulled back into action and forced to investigate closer to home where the next generation of terrorists are made.
Scenes are scheduled to film in North Carolina and Washington D.C. The pilot will be co-produced by Universal Television and CBS Television Studios. Executive Producer of “Bates Motel”, Kerry Ehrin has been picked up to be a consultant on the project.
