Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are in the Atlanta area to film two different movies – can the Peach state bring the power couple back together?
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have announced the decision to end their marriage days before each of them work on two different movies both filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jennifer Garner is in the Atlanta area to film ‘Miracles from Heaven,’ a religious movie set to start filming this week in Atlanta. ‘Miracles from Heaven’ is based on a true story about Christy Beam’s daughter who miraculously overcame a rare disorder that forced her to eat with tubes and carry colostomy bags instead of using regular bathrooms. After Beam’s daughter fell three stories, the book reveals the young girl visited heaven and was later cured of her rare condition.’ T.D. Jakes and Joe Roth, who produced Heaven Is for Real, are producing along with DeVon Franklin, the preacher and former Sony exec who is now a producer based on the studio’s Culver City lot.
Meanwhile, Ben Affleck’s new movie, ‘Live By Night’ is ramping up production in Atlanta to film this summer. Ben Affleck recently commented on this upcoming project:
“Basically I’m doing a movie called Live By Night and I’m trying to meet this schedule in order to do it, in order to meet the back end so that I can have it released at the right time, and I just hadn’t gotten enough writing done and it became clear that if I took that job [acting in ‘Focus’] and was in Buenos Aires for three months, I was gonna miss the deadline. I had to choose between getting the movie out when I want to or doing this one, so reluctantly I chose the [former]. But I love those guys, I love Kristen, I was really excited to work with her, I think the movie’s gonna be fabulous, and I’m sure they’ll find a great guy for it.””
With Georgia’s beautiful scenery, attractions, and romantic hot spots maybe the power couple can find live once again outside of Tinsletown and perhaps in little Peach Tree City, Georgia.
