Angelina Jolie admits that she was warned about acting with Brad Pitt in the upcoming movie ‘By The Sea’.
It has been ten years since they worked alongside one another in Mr and Mrs Smith, and went on to fall in love and get married. Now Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are set to act together in the new movie By The Sea, which is directed by Angelina Jolie.

The Unbroken director said the couple, who have a six children and tied the knot in August, play a husband and wife struggling in their relationship.
‘We haven’t acted together for ten years. We decided we would do it again and we did a very small drama about family, about marriage in fact,’ the 39-year-old explained. ‘We did a drama about a bad marriage.’ When Richard commented ‘That is skating on thin ice!’, the actress admitted the couple had been warned that life could imitate art.

‘A lot of friends of ours thought is was a really … they didn’t say a bad idea … but they asked us a few times if we were sure we wanted to do it.’
Photos have been released showing Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt engaging in a dramatic fight on their balcony of their Sydney hotel room last week, but it is possible the two were rehearsing a scene for the movie. . The famous couple were in Australia to attend the premiere of Unbroken, the World War II biopic on the life of Louis Zamperini, an American Olympic runner and prisoner of war who passed away aged 97 in July.

Angelina Jolie revealed that it was not easy filming By The Sea, ‘It [was] uncomfortable but we’ve already shot it, we’ve survived it and we’re stronger for it,’ she said. ‘It was very tough material, so for any actors it was heavy dramatic emotional work.’
The movie is written, directed and stars Angelina Jolie and is set during the mid-1970s and centers on Vanessa, a former dancer, and her husband Roland, an American writer as they travel together. The couple couple seem to be growing apart, but when they give one last ditched effort at making their relationship work at a seaside town. ‘We are dear friends who love each other and support each other,’ Angelina said of working with her husband.
