Aaron Paul wants to join the cast of ‘Better Call Saul’
One of the biggest rumors surrounding the production of ‘Better Call Saul’ was that the original cast of Breaking Bad were going to appear in the show’s prequel. However, over time those rumors were squashed and killed until now. Recently, Aaron Paul, the actor behind Jesse Pinkman, revealed that he was interested in playing a role in the TV series.
“Who knows what they’re gonna do, but it is a prequel, so [Paul] absolutely could,” MacLaren said. “I think it’s open to whoever Vince and Peter [Gould] decide to bring in. I would imagine that everyone who would ask would say yes, but I have no idea what they’re going to do with it.”
“We always have fun having that discussion — Vince [Gilligan], myself, Peter [Gould], the writers. We just have no idea how that would happen. But hopefully one day.”
Pinkman revealed that he has wierd feelings watching the Breaking Bad prequel, ‘Better Call Saul‘.
“I love it,” he said. “It’s a little weird because it kind of looks like Breaking Bad. It has somewhat of a little bit different tone, but I know everyone involved, and I’m not involved in it at all and it’s a little weird, a little sad, but it’s great.”
If you’ve been watching ‘Better Call Saul’, you would say that the show is completely different than ‘Breaking Bad’. Perhaps, adding Jesse Pinkman would create a additional level of spice to the series.
