Aaron Hernandez Killed Two People Over a Spilled Drink?

Date:

Aaron Hernandez is allegedly killed two people over a spilled drink.

Aaron Hernandez was arraigned today for the drive-by-murders of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado outside a Boston nightclub in July 2012.

Hernandez pleaded not guilty, and for the first time, the prosecution detailed what they believed caused the murders.

According to the District Attorney, Abreu accidentally bumped into Hernandez, spilling a drink, and did not apologize. This made Hernandez extremely upset, who felt that he had been disrespected a lot more at night clubs in Boston. Surveillance video captures Hernandez angrily pacing outside the nightclub before the victims left.

The entire time Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado had no idea that Aaron Hernandez was angry at them. Hernandez would later pull up alongside their car at a stop light, and fire at least five shots.

Aaron Hernandez defense attorney complained that the case has been unfair due to the media spectacle and the unbiased coverage.

Hernandez was ordered without bail, and will appear in court on June 24.

Aaron Hernandez played college football for the University of Florida, where he was a member of a BCS National Championship team and earned All-American honors. Hernandez was drafted by the New England Patriots in the NFL Draft and was selected for the Pro Bowl following his second NFL season.
