HBO’s “BOSS” casting call for nightclub goers in New York City, New York.
Are you a hip and trendy person who loves the nightlife scene? If so, you could be just what HBO’s new series, “BOSS,” is looking for! The show seeks non-union background performers to play nightclub goers in the upcoming season.
The casting call specifies that the scene will be set in a club with loud music and flashing lights and that the costume department is looking for specific outfits (reference photos are included in the call). Furthermore, there will be a substance made out of candy/jolly ranchers to simulate drug use, which will be shown on camera—so potential performers must be okay with using/taking this substance.
The shoot will take place on April 24th and 25th in Manhattan, but performers must get a COVID test on April 21st in the Bronx beforehand. As with many productions, call times may be early or even overnight, so performers are asked to have full availability on the shoot date to allow maximum flexibility.
Please note that a SAG-AFTRA CBA does NOT cover this background performer role and is subject to a preference of employment provision. Payment for the role is $165 for 10 hours of work, plus a $60 stipend for the required COVID test.
If you think you fit the bill and are interested in being part of “BOSS,” be sure to apply for this exciting opportunity!
