Check out the six best commercials of 2013
Just like film festivals, the advertising industry gathers from around the world on the French coast to show their best commercials and ads of the year.
One of the biggest ad festivals in the world is the Cannes Lions (Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity). The seven-day festival, incorporates the awarding of the Lions awards and is held yearly at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France. Thousands of people from around the world attend the festival to view shortlisted work, attend seminars, workshops and master classes.
Actors are sometimes a small piece to a larger puzzle, especially in commercials. According to a recent Nielsen study, the best commercials were 15 seconds long with the first few seconds entertaining and then informative. Keep this in mind during your next audition, it may just help you land that $10,000 commercial!
