"LOVE NEVER DIES" Childrens Open Casting Call

Open casting call for “Love Never Dies”: Seeking a talented boy soprano to portray Gustave in the United Kingdom!

Are you a young actor with a passion for the stage and an exceptional vocal talent? If so, this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for! “LOVE NEVER DIES” is hosting an open casting call to find the perfect young performer to bring the character of Gustave to life.

Gustave is a character with a mysterious and mischievous quality, aged approximately 10 years old. The chosen actor must possess a stunning pure vocal quality and be able to perform as a Boy Soprano. Practical considerations require that the actor resides within approximately one hour's travel of Central London for rehearsals, pick-ups, and drop-offs.

Responsibilities:

The selected actor will be responsible for portraying Gustave with authenticity, capturing his enigmatic and playful nature on stage. They will deliver captivating performances that align with the character's persona and storyline, showcasing exceptional Boy Soprano vocal abilities during musical segments.

Requirements:

Age: Approximately 10 years old.
Height: Under 4ft 10ins.
Vocal Ability: Must possess a genuine chorister sound as a Boy Soprano.
Residence: Candidates must live within approximately one hour's travel of Central London for practical rehearsal and logistics purposes.
Availability: Must be available for auditions in London on Wednesday, 1st November (afternoon). Recalls to be confirmed.
Commitment: Actors selected will be part of a rotation in China for two months of performances, returning to the UK afterward. New performers will join the tour every two months.

Performance Schedule (for this cycle only):

Rehearse in London: Week commencing 18th December 2023
Fly to China: 27th December 2023
First Performances: Week commencing 8th January 2024
3-week return to London: Starting 5th February 2024
Fly to Beijing: 24th February 2024
Return to London: 25th March 2024 (with possibility of extension to mid April)

Compensation Details:

Compensation will be provided in accordance with industry standards and will include arrangements for travel, accommodation, and per diem during the China performances.
