Casting directors are now casting for ‘Unbroken’ directed by Angelina Jolie.
Universal Pictures and Angelina Jolie are coming together to make Unbroken, a major motion picture.
This will be Angelina Jolie‘s second time behind the camera, after her critically acclaimed directorial debut, for “In the Land of Blood and Honey”. This time Angelina Jolie is holding an open casting call to fill various roles.
Unbroken is based on the New York Times bestselling book, “Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption” by Laura Hillenbrand; The author of Seabiscuit: An American Legend.
Unbroken is scheduled to begin filming in September 2013, and will center on of the story of Louis Zamperini a former prisoner of war and olympic long distance runner.
Joining the team on this major motion picture will be Matthew Baer from “City By the Sea” and Erwin Stoff from “The Day the Earth Stood Still”. Also joining will be ten-time Oscar nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins, as director of photography and Jon Hutman as production designer.
