If you were born in the 1980s, then you probably never heard of Three’s Company. But, the showed aired for seven years on ABC from the late 1970s to the early 80s. The show focused on a friendship between two single women living in Santa Monica who take in a guy as a roommate. Something that wasn’t normal in the 70s. In order to make sure everything was okay, the trio decided to tell the landlord he was gay. A series of hilarious antics ensue with plenty of innuendo. The show was based on a British TV show, Man About the House.

John Ritter played the lead role in the American remake and won an Emmy in the process. Joyce DeWitte played the feisty brunette alongside Suzanne Somers who became a national sex symbol. The new movie will be set in the 1970s
