“The D.U.F.F ” is the latest movie to find a home in Atlanta, Georgia and producers are holding a casting call for extras.
Extras Casting Atlanta is currently casting extras to play high schoolers in the new movie “The D.U.F.F”.
The D.U.F.F is based on Kody Keplinger’s coming-of-age novel “The DUFF” (which stands for Designated Ugly Fat Friend).
According to The Wrap, “The DUFF” centers on Bianca, a high school senior whose life is turned upside down when she finds out she’s been labeled her social group’s DUFF (designated ugly fat friend), a sidekick to her prettier, more popular friends. She becomes determined to reinvent herself, enlisting her fellow DUFFs in a scheme to overthrow Madison, the school’s evil queen.
The DUFF will star Bella Thorne from the Disney Channel and Mae Whitman.
Extras Casting Atlanta is looking for high school student types that are between 18 years old to 20 years old that are in senior year or just out of HS.
Casting directors are looking for all different types of people to apply.Â
Filming is set to begin in mid June through the first week of July.
