The 5th Wave Casting Call for extras in Atlanta, Georgia
Tammy Smith Casting of Atlanta is looking for men and women in the military to work on the upcoming feature film, ‘The 5th Wave’.
In the 5th Wave, four waves of increasingly deadly attacks have left most of Earth decimated. Against a backdrop of fear and distrust, 16-year-old Cassie is on the run, desperately trying to save her younger brother. As she prepares for the inevitable and lethal 5th wave, Cassie meets a young man who may become her final hope.
Casting directors are looking for men and women ages 18 to 55 with military experience to play soldiers, guards for scenes that take place on a military base in the movie. Producers are looking for talent that will work on various days starting September 20th through December 19th.

For the feature film “The 5th Wave”
FYI this is the next epic series of films in the post-apocalyptic genre. It’s an Alien/Sci-fi intense drama and this film is the first of a series of films that will be made (based on the book of the same title).
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Casting for MEN and WOMEN, ages 18-55, all ethnicities/races with MILITARY experience (or other relatable experience– i.e. police, weapon trained or martial arts, etc…) to play soldiers, guards, etc for scenes that take place on a military base in the movie.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1. The movie films from September 20 – December 19. We have many scenes on various days and so we need to have as many military types in our pocket for us to hire for all the different days. We will use some people a day here or there, and if you are more available, then we may be able to use you more! We work a Mon- Fri work week and we will also be working on a few Saturdays as well. Most of our scenes are daytime scenes, but we also have a few night sequences.
2. If you received an email from us in the past few days to send us a current military submission, you do NOT need to send in another submission. This post is to gather more of you
How to submit:

Make sure you ATTACH a few current PHOTOS of you (one looking the part, if possible, and also make sure we can see your face and hair length in one as well. Please avoid other people in the pics, sunglasses and hats). A more serious photo without a smile is appreciated – it doesn’t have to look mean, but just not a big smile.

- Women: dress size, bust/bra/cup , pants, waist, shoe
- Men: jacket/coat, collar, sleeve, waist, inseam, shoe
PLEASE LIST any military experience (or relatable police or martial arts experience, in few sentences or less) that you may have. Please also any WEAPONS training and/or skills that you have.
This will film/shoot in the Greater ATLANTA area and you must be willing to work local here as an extra. The basic pay for extra work on this project is $64 for 8 hrs with overtime after that. We are negotiating a higher extras rate for the soldier extras that need to have weapon training for certain scenes. Not all scenes require the weapon skills though.
We would also appreciate if you could tag or refer other military types (men and women, ages 18-55) that may be interested as well. We will need many to work with, especially to accommodate all the various scheduled dates as well as the fact that not everyone is as available as others. They can submit in the format listed above also.
