Magnolia is now casting speaking roles in Nashville, Tennessee.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Nashville, Tennessee.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Seeking African American Senior Male.
70s and up! For MAGNOLIA, a Film to accompany an enhanced visual album for male Country Music Star for a major label. Leon is a regular fixture at the bar. A blues musician would be amazing, but open to non-musicians too! - LEON: Male, 70-85 years old African American. Would love a real guitar player or musician of any kind….but not 100% necessary for the role. Leon is a permanent fixture in a NOLA bar that Noah finds himself in. A weathered black man with jazz and blues running through his veins, his wrinkles are not from frowning, but from smiling and laughing. This is a man that’s been alive for a long time, and living for every bit of it. His precise age is hard to determine, and that ambiguity carries through to his whole character. We never find out much about Leon, but he shows up in Noah’s life at precisely the right time, to say precisely the right thing. We get the feeling that Leon might be wiser than he lets on, something the bartender is quick to dismiss. NEEDED 1 DAY.
