“Take Me Home” Feature Film Casting Call for Several Leading Roles in Boston

Casting directors are now casting for the upcoming production “Take Me Home” filming in Boston, Massachusetts.

Producers are looking to cast several roles and are holding an open casting call this Friday, March 28th in Boston.

PRODUCTION TITLE: “Take Me Home”

PRODUCTION LOCATION: Boston area

COMPENSATION: Copy of film, meals during shoots, transportation, exposure

AUDITION DATE: Friday, March 28 – 5PM – 9PM

PREPARATION: Please bring resume/headshot & 1-2 monologues. Cold-reading sides.

SHOOTING SCHEDULE:  Tentative dates: April 5-6, 12-13, 19-20. and May. (These are ALL weekend shoots.) Please be flexible with shooting dates. (This will be finalized after casting.)

SYNOPSIS OF PROJECT: “Take Me Home” explores different aspects of youth through three narratives involving various individuals ranging from small-time thieves to young romantics to an aging debt collector, many of whom are shown to be interlinked as their stories progress.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

Anna (16-19):  Sarcastic, impatient, facetious, bullish, smart. Young, very attractive, tall. She is the most popular girl in high school and knows to get things her way because of this. She starts taking interest in Marc and begins spending time with him. LEAD. SKILLS: Riding bicycle. CAUCASIAN or ASIAN preferable.

Marc (16-19): Kind, oblivious, dreamer, average, bullied. Young, average-looking, tall. He is an average student who struggles with his studies. He rides his bike all the time and enjoys the city and the suburbs. He begins to do homework with Anna and slowly starts to spend time with her. LEAD. SKILLS: Riding bicycle CAUCASIAN or ASIAN preferred.

Mrs. Robinson (25-35): Intelligent, didactic, kind, understanding. Young, attractive. She is Anna and Marc’s high school history teacher. She enjoys teaching and working with students. SUPPORTING.

Dr. Hillard (40-55):  Intelligent, calm, didactic. He is the physician who helps Anna recover and console Marc. He is very busy with patients and medical education. SUPPORTING.

AFRICAN-AMERICAN or CAUCASIAN preferred.

Jessica and Katie (16-19): Gossipy, attractive, romantic. They are Anna’s close friends. They follow her around. SUPPORTING.
