Steve McQueen’s HBO TV Pilot Casting Call for talented and experienced actors.
12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen is developing his first TV project, a drama for HBO.
According to Deadline, McQueen co-wrote a script with Matthew Michael Carnahan (World War Z) that centers on “a young African-American man’s experience entering New York high society, with a past that may not be what it seems … ‘Six Degrees of Separation meetsShame.'” (Quite the tagline.)
Russell Simmons will serve as an executive producer, Oscar winners Iain Canning and Emile Sherman will produce, and casting is already under way.
Casting directors are casting the lead role in the new HBO pilot directed by Steve McQueen. Casting directors are looking for an Extremely handsome 22-35 year old man that is multi-ethnic or African American. The talent must be an excellent actor.

We are looking for an Extremely handsome 22-35 year old man; MULTI-ETHNIC or AFRICAN AMERICAN. Must be an EXCELLENT ACTOR!
