Marvel’s Infinity Wars is still filming throughout Atlanta, Georgia. But one superhero took the time to give back to the Georgia community.
Marvel star Tom Holland made a surprise visit to Grady Memorial Hospital. According to reports, he took some time out to visit patients and staff members at Grady Memorial Hospital over the weekend.
AJC reports, Dr. Walter Ingram and Dr. Rachel Williams led him on a tour of the Grady Burn Center, and Holland brought toys to children spending the holidays in the hospital.
“This is why I love my job,” he wrote with a photo he posted on Instagram (below). “Happy Christmas to all the little heroes around the world. Thank you Grady hospital for having us and I’m sure we’ll see you soon.”
Before leaving and hopping on a flight to the UK, Holland dropped off platters of Chick-fil-A at the nurses’ station.
Disney plans to release Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” as one film with production expected to begin later this summer in Atlanta, Georgia. Avengers: Infinity War is the upcoming sequel to The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The movie is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018. Details surrounding the new Avengers movie have not been released. However, the comic book character Thanos will serve as the main antagonist of the film, with the plot revolving around the Infinity Gauntlet and the six Infinity Stones. According to IMDB, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Brolin will star in the new Avengers: Infinity War movie.
