Halloween sequel starring Jamie Lee Curtis is now casting neighbors and cops in Charleston, South Carolina.
Casting directors are now seeking actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Friday, January 26th and 30th in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- 10 Neighbors (these 10 will be working VERY Late and outside). Not a fan a very late night filming -do not submit. Not needed for first scene up. Can not be anyone we have used on this show already.
Submit with heading 1/26 NEIGHBOR. - 12 NEW Onlookers & 5 NEW Cops (MUST be actual cops or have law enforcement background).
Must be available at whatever time needed and for as long as needed. Submit with heading 1/30 COPS (should have law enforcement experience) or 1/ 30 ONLOOKER.
About Halloween:
Halloween was slated for a November production launch before being pushed back to its new mid-January start date.
According to Omega Underground, David Gordon Green’s Halloween soft-reboot/sequel is now filming in Charleston, South Carolina.
Directed by David Gordon Green (Stronger) and co-written by Alien: Covenant star Danny McBride, the franchise revamp will pick up after the 1978 Halloween.
“We’re kind of ignoring all the films past the first one,” McBride said, confirming the newest Halloween will erase the last nine movies. “It picks up after the first one, but it’s sort of an alternate reality. It’s as if the first Halloween ended in a slightly different way.”
Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her 1978 role as Laurie Strode. Curtis returned for 1980’s Halloween II and 1998’s Halloween H20: 20 Years Later before reviving the character again for her death at the hands of her serial killer brother in 2002’s Halloween: Resurrection.
