SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
MALE ENSEMBLE: (Late 20’s- Mid 30’s): AFRICAN-AMERICAN. Must have wide range with strong falsetto. Seeking one actor who will be onstage in the ensemble and will also cover the following roles:
CURTIS JACKSON: A super cool, super confident, smooth bad guy with soul. He is a tough narcissist with sex appeal, and charisma. He is elegant and dangerous. Needs extremely strong voice. Vocal range for this role: Baritone or baritenor with a strong falsetto. Low B to A-flat. LT.
EDDIE SOUTHER: A desk cop. He is charming and straight forward. He should have theatrical flair for the dream sequence when he imagines himself as hip and sexy. Has charm and must be appealing. Vocal range for this role: High baritone or tenor with falsetto. Low aflat to High B.
TJ: Curtis’ nephew. An overeager young man. He is well-intended, but doesn’t always have the
brain power to think ahead. Must have comic chops. Vocal range for this role: Tenor with strong disco falsetto. D-flat to High A (full), High E-flat (falsetto).
TO PREPARE:
Bring a song a la Bee Gees/Beach Boys/Four Seasons. Show style and range. BRING SHEET MUSIC.
