‘Sinister 2’ is now filming in Chicago, Illinois and casting directors are looking for a stand-ins, extras, and featured roles.
A stand-in is a person who works closely with the crew to light and block the scene as they stand in, in place of the actor during the setup for each scene.
According to Deadline, ‘Sinister 2‘ will start filming this Summer and will be the sequel to Scott Derrickson’s Sinister made $77 million on a small budget of only $3 million. Scott Derickson will team up with C. Robert Cargill in the new sequel as Cargill will write the sequel’s screenplay.
In ‘Sinister‘, Ethan Hawke played a crime novelist struggling to find his next big story but discovers a box of home videos showing several families brutally murdered. His investigation leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his on family in danger.
Casting directors are looking for a little person to work as a stand-in in the feature film. In addition, casting directors are searching for teenagers that are overweight/chubby to work as a featured extra for several scenes in the upcoming horror film.

Casting Alert! We are searching for a little person to work as a standin for our child cast on another film. A standin is a person who works closely with the crew to light and block the scene as they stand in, in place of the actor during the setup for each scene. This will be six weeks of work. This is a paid position.

Extras Casting Call
Casting Alert! Searching for a 12 to 15 year old overweight/chubby male to work as one of our featured extras for a one or two day shoot on the horror film, “Sinister 2”. SpecialFX Make Up Session
This will be a one to two-day shoot. If chosen you would need to be available this Thursday, July, 31st for a FX makeup session, and then the shoot will be sometimes during August 18th through the end of September.
Searching for the following:
Caucasian males and females to play Mothers and Fathers, ages late 20’s to early 40’s. Especially searching for a man who looks like Jimmy Stewart and a man who has a beard close to the Abraham Lincoln Beard.
I am creating a few different families. A Norman Rockwell type family, a church family, and a country family.
