Bird Box starring Sandra Bullock is now casting the lead speaking role in Austin, Texas.
Casting directors are now casting the lead speaking role for the new movie Bird Box, which stars Sandra Bullock. Filming will shoot in Austin, Texas and producers are seeking the following types:
- 4 to 6-year-old boy.
- No prior acting experience is required, but this is a lead role.
- We are looking for Caucasian or Hispanic boys in this age range who are comfortable around new people, are not shy talking to adults, and are able to follow direction.
About Bird Box:
Sandra Bullock is set to star in Netflix’s post-apocalyptic thriller Bird Box. Based on a 2014 novel by Josh Malerman, the story is set in the near future, where a mother (Bullock) and her two young children are among a small group of survivors after a mysterious alien force has driven the world’s population to deadly violence. The three must make their way on a terrifying journey — 20 miles in a rowboat — while blindfolded, with nothing to rely on but the mother’s wits and the children’s trained ears.

**Local auditions THIS WEEK ONLY in Austin for little boy in Sandra Bullock Film**
The feature film BIRD BOX starring Sandra Bullock is casting a role for a 4 to 6 year old boy. No prior acting experience is required, but this is a lead role. We are looking for Caucasian or Hispanic boys in this age range who are comfortable around new people, are not shy talking to adults, and are able to follow direction.

Please include parent/ guardian name and contact number as well. Auditions will take place in Austin this week only. Must be local in Texas and able to come in for an audition this week. Please do NOT submit if you don’t live in the area or state.
STORYLINE:
The Boy has lived with Malorie and Girl ever since the day of his birth, and now they are beginning an extremely dangerous journey to a place of refuge – and Boy must go every inch of the way without ever opening his eyes. Completely aware of the vital rules that Malorie has drummed into him, Boy sets off with his two companions on a river trip that will probably end in death for all three…
