Playstation Network New Series “Powers” Casting Call

What is “Powers” the graphic novel about? Powers is set in a world where superpowers are relatively common but not mundane. It follows the lives of two detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, police officers in a Homicide department devoted to cases that involve “powers” (people with superpowers).
CL Casting will be casting actors, models, and extras to work on the new series “Power” filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to IGN, “Powers” the TV pilot was was made for and later scrapped by the FX channel in 2011, but Sony Pictures TV will produce the exclusive series for the growing Playstation Network video service. The TV series will be a live-action, hour-long show, with approximately 10 episodes in the first season.

The comic mashes up cop drama with superpowers, as two Chicago Homicide detectives try to maintain order in a world where powered heroes and villains exist. Casting directors will be casting a group actors to work on recurring roles in the show. In addition, CL Casting is looking for cops to work on the new show. Filming will start filming in the next couple of months. Producers are also looking for people to play super villains in the TV series.

CL Casting is happy to announce we will be casting the new series “Powers” based on the graphic novel by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming. This is an exciting venture! We are in search of our CORE Kidz Powers and Cops. You must have a flexible schedule. These will work through the series in Mid January. KIDZ  Ages 18-30

All Ethnicities We are searching those with interesting looks. All Shapes and Sizes Some with piercings, wild hair color, gangsters…… With Dragon-Con approaching maybe you have a character you like to bring to life. Show what you got. You should be taking fresh pics to show what you got. Please send a minimum of 3 (Waist up Shot, Full Body and a Full body profile) then fee free to add on any additional photos you believe we need to see. These will be hand selected by the creator of the show so please put your best foot forward with your pictures.
