According to reports, Bryan Cranston, Steve Carell and Laurence Fishburne will in the to Last Flag Flying, a sequel to the 1974 Jack Nicholson movie The Last Detail. Jack Nicholson, Randy Quaid and Otis Young starred in the moving adaptation of Darryl Ponsican’s novel of the same name, about two members of the showing a third a good time while escorting him to prison for petty crime.

“Last Flag Flying” catches up with the main trio later in life, as the Quaid character (presumably Carell in this version) requests his old friends’ help bringing home the body of his son, who died in the Iraq War.
