Denzel Washington is now casting featured roles for his new movie Fences in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Denzel Washington is now casting real African American garbage men and sanitation workers to work on the upcoming feature film Fences. Producers are looking for talent who actually have experience as a sanitation worker and live in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.
Talents will be compensated $500/day to work on the scene. Filming will take place on April 26th.
About Fences:
Fences is the story about a former baseball athlete who struggles to provide for his family as a trash collector in the 1950s Pittsburgh after being denied to join the Major Leagues due to being African American. The original movie took place in 1987 with James Earl Jones as the lead role. Denzel Washington won a Tony in 2010 alongside Viola Davis. Denzel Washington will star alongside Viola Davis in the HBO film adaptation.
