Marinella Hume Casting is now casting stand-ins and background roles for a Netflix series filming in Oregon City and Portland, Oregon. Casting directors are now seeking background extras to work on the production. Casting directors are seeking a ton of talent to work on the Netflix series.

Netflix Casting Call
We are now casting stand-ins and background roles for a Netflix series.
Please DO NOT submit if you do not live within a few hours of the PORTLAND area.
Please note MOST of these positions may require an interview and/or costume fitting.
Please do not send an email saying “I’m in the database” and proceed to send no pics, sizes, or contact info.
These are NOT principal roles.
THIS WILL SHOOT IN Oregon City and surrounding Portland area.
Pay Rate for Extras is $90/8.

CASTING THE FOLLOWING BACKGROUND ROLES for Netflix series.
BACKGROUND ROLES:
We will be announcing an open call set for early June. Once this open call is announced, we highly encourage you to attend even if you’ve submitted via email but for now, we are accepting general photo submissions to be considered for extra work.
Please note this takes place during the 1990’s, so hair style will be very important in our selection process. Please hold off on any haircuts or coloring if you submit. See reference photos:
Also, be sure to denote any conflicts, scheduling issues that you have during the shoot dates (Roughly mid June thru Late August) We shoot Monday thru Friday.
STAND INS – Men & Women, 18+. If you have stand-in experience and open availability, see below on how to submit and put STAND-IN EXPERIENCE in subject line. Please denote your experience.
UNDERCLASSMEN – Boys & Girls, ages 14-17 to play high school students. This is scheduled to work various dates from mid June to late August.
*Must include parent/guardian’s name & contact in submission. Anyone under 16 years old must have a parent or guardian present on set. Put “FRESHMEN” in subject line.
UPPERCLASSMEN – Boys & Girls, ages 18+ who can realistically portray high school students. This is scheduled to work various dates from mid June to late August. Put “SENIORS” in subject line.
TEACHERS – Men & Women, ages 25+, to portray teachers, various faculty members. This is scheduled to work various dates from mid June to late August. Put “TEACHER” in subject line.
MALE ROAD TRIPPER – Male, mid 20’s, must have DREADLOCKS or similar styled hair. This is scheduled to work on June 14th. Put “DREADS” in subject line.
LOCKER ROOM GIRLS – Females, 18-24, must be comfortable in undergarments (bra & panties) on camera. Must look high school aged. *Pay will include a $30 bump in addition to daily extra rate. This will work on June 23rd, however you may be asked to return on other dates. Put “LOCKER ROOM” in subject line.
MISC ADULTS – Men & Women, ages 18+ to play restaurant patrons, grocery store customers/employees. This will work various dates from mid June to late August. Put “MISC ADULT” in subject line.
PRE 1996 VEHICLES – Looking for vehicles that were made prior to 1996. Will work various dates from mid June to late August. Make sure to note make/model/color/year and include photos. Put “PRE 96” in subject line.

THIS———> We shoot Monday thru Friday, expect 12+ hour shoots . Not all days will be this long, but you should always be prepared to be there for the entire duration of the shoot day. Please keep that in mind when accepting a booking. You cannot leave to pick up kids, walk dog, doctor’s appointments, etc.

*Photos must be well lit, clear & in focus, no hats, glasses or other props. We must be able to tell the current length and color of hair.
**These photos should have been taken recently and MUST reflect exactly what you currently look like. DO NOT SEND IN PICTURES THAT HAVE ANY SORT OF SNAPCHAT or INSTAGRAM filter.
While we love the enthusiasm of some of you, it is not necessary to submit multiple times a day or mulitple times for a single role. Thanks!
