‘Swamp Thing’ North Carolina Casting Call for a School Scene

Swamp Thing is now casting extras for a school scene scene in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Wednesday, November 21st in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  1. FACULTY-
    Males and females, all ethnicities, ages 30-50. Those submitting should have a clean cut appearance (men should have limited facial hair or tame facial hair), no visible tattoos, and must have business casual attire.
  2. STUDENTS-
    Males and females, all ethnicities, ages 9-11.

About Swamp Thing:

According to DC Universe, “Swamp Thing is the latest original series to be announced for the DC Universe digital experience, and it comes to us care of a name that DC (and horror) fans will likely know—James Wan, who will serve as an Executive Producer of the series along with Mark Verheiden (Ash vs. The Evil Dead, Daredevil, Constantine), Gary Dauberman (It, Annabelle: Creation) and Michael Clear (Lights Out, Annabelle: Creation). ”

When CDC researcher Abby Arcane returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland—only to have him tragically taken from her. SWAMP THING- WILMINGTON, NC: LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES (INCLUDING KIDS) FOR THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING (WED, 11/21)

Pay rate is a guaranteed $64 for up to 8 hrs and time and a half for every hour that exceeds the 8th.

Call time could be as early as 5:30am and Filming days can last up to 12+ hours so please come prepared. That said, this scene if first up that day so it should not be more than a half day of filming.
