Georgia Film, Music, and Digital Entertainment recently posted a casting call seeking crew members for “Spongebob Squareparents 2” filming in Savannah, Georgia.

Did you know the first SpongeBob movie is among the highest earning animated films to be based on a television cartoon series of all time?

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2 is an upcoming American animated film based on the Nickelodeon television seriesSpongeBob SquarePants.

It will be produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Animation and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is the sequel to 2004’s The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and is slated to be released in late-2014.

The series’ main cast members, Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Clancy Brown, and Carolyn Lawrence, are set to reprise their roles.
