Steven Spielberg’s Nor’Easter starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep is now casting extras in New York City.
Casting directors are looking for men and women, ages 18 to 55, to portray war veterans and protesters. The scenes are set in 1971 and producers are looking for guys with medium-length, shaggy, or long hair. Casting directors are also looking for women with any length hair but no obvious highlights or ombre. Filming will shoot on Sunday, July 19th, Tuesday, July 18th and Wednesday, July 26th in New York City.
About Nor’Easter:
According to reports, Steven Spielberg’s latest movie Untitled Steven Spielberg Project, is filming under the working title of Nor’easter. The movie stars Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep and is filming in White Plains, New York.
The movie centers around the Pentagon Papers – a leaked study from the Department of Defense that “detailed the U.S. government’s military involvement in Vietnam.

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking the following for feature film Nor’Easter:
NON UNION Men and Women, 18-55 age range, to portray WAR VETERANS and PROTESTERS.
These scenes are set in 1971. Men can have medium-length, shaggy, or long hair. Women can have any length hair but no obvious highlights or ombre.
This will be filming Sunday July 9th, Tuesday July 18th, and Wednesday July 26th. You will need to attend a wardrobe fitting prior to the shoot date.
