Netflix Extras Casting Call for Spike Lee’s New Series

Here’s your chance to land a  role in the 10-episode Netflix reboot of She’s Gotta Have It.

has just announced a 10-episode TV remake of “She’s Gotta Have It, ” the 1986 Spike Lee film about a Brooklyn-based 20-something balancing three different relationships with three differently types of guys.

And if you are for something a little more than binge-watching the series, you can be in it, too.

Spike Lee took to on to announce an call for “She’s Gotta Have It” this upcoming Monday, Oct. 3 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

“All nationalities age 18-80” are invited, he said.

The casting call will be held at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple, located at 317 Clermont Ave in Fort Greene (not far from Lee’s home and offices, where he’s been known to a neighborhood block party or two).

SAG/ actors can try out between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and non-union actors can try out between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m, according to .

Spike Lee is encouraging interested actors who can’t attend Monday’s casting call to send an “updated headshot, resume, and one recent non-professional photo” to slbgcasting@gmail.com.
