Logline:
As a family debates his end-of-life care, an elderly man reflects on his life with his granddaughter’s boyfriend.
Seeking:
[EUN-HEE]. Female. KOREAN. 45-60 yrs old. Eun-Hee is a middle-aged Korean woman who is trying to make her visiting daughter’s stay comfortable, despite difficult circumstances. As things become more complicated, Eun-Hee must speak her mind… SUPPORTING. Talent must be Korean and fluent in Korean. Additional English fluency is a plus. Shoots 1 day.
[KYUNG-JA]. Female. KOREAN. 65-80 yrs old. A smart and witty grandmother. When her husband becomes gravely ill, she decides that she no longer wants to eat… SUPPORTING. Talent must be Korean and fluent in Korean. Additional English fluency is a plus. Shoots 3 days.
[YOUNG-SIK]. Male. KOREAN. 65-80 yrs old. A grandfather left physically weak due to a serious illness. As his family debates about his end-of-life care, he reflects on his life with his granddaughter’s Japanese boyfriend… SUPPORTING LEAD. Talent must be Korean and must speak Japanese either proficiently or fluently. Additional Korean and English fluency is a plus. Shoots 3 days.
