James Franco’s ‘The Deuce’ HBO Casting Call for Homeless in NYC

James Franco‘s new HBO series The Deuce is looking for homeless guys in New York City.

Are you looking for your next audition? Has anyone ever told you that you look homeless? If so, Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for guys ages 18 and older to play 1970s homeless types for a scene filming on Friday, June 24th.

Producers are looking for talent that can provide their own “70s-type homeless look! (worn, dirty clothes, layers, nothing too modern looking, etc).”

Fittings are scheduled for Thursday, June 23rd in Brooklyn.

The Deuce James Franco Casting

“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. JamesFranco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

Fitting tomorrow Thursday 6/23 in Brooklyn
Works Friday 6/24 exterior night shoot!

Should be able to provide your own 70s-type homeless look! (worn, dirty clothes, layers, nothing too modern looking, etc).

-all sizes: height, weight, suit, shirt, pants, and shoe
-confirm you can bring the type of clothes listed above
-recent non-professional photos that show your current look AND a look you can provide for 70s homeless
-please note if you worked on the pilot and what role

PLEASE NOTE: men should have hair at least 1.5 inches in length. No shaved heads, buzzcuts, shaved sides, dreadlocks, super modern styles. No visible tattoos.
Everyone must be 18 or older to work and located in the tri-state area. Everyone must have TWO VALID forms of US-issued ID to work!
