HBO’s The Deuce Season 2 is now casting basketball players in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Thursday, May 31st and/or June 4th in New York City.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- GWC is seeking SAG/NU Men to portray 1970s Basketball Players for work on The Deuce!
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

SAG special ability rate: $176/8hrs
Works Thursday 5/31 exterior OR Monday 6/4 exterior in NYC area
(seeking this role for scenes on both days!)
Costume fitting in LIC, Queens on Tues 5/29, Wed 5/30, Thurs 5/31
Please note:
-Everyone must be 18 or older to work
-Everyone must have unrestricted, unexpired ID to work
-Everyone should be local to NY area
-No visible tattoos
-Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke
Seeking people with REAL basketball experience
Everyone must have 1970s appropriate hair to work (2+inches in length all around, no shaved heads, buzzcuts, shaved sides, edging, fades, braids, dreadlocks, etc)
*If you do not have 1970s appropriate, it is acceptable to provide your own wig!*
