The Deuce starring James Franco is now casting transgender actors in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on February 28th in New York City.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- GWC is seeking SAG & Non-Union Men of 25-45 to portray a 1970’s Transgender Prostitute for work on the HBO Series, THE DEUCE!
- Everyone must be 18 or over to work.
Everyone must have valid, unexpired, unrestricted ID.
Should be local to the NYC area. - Must be comfortable wearing women’s clothing portraying a prostitute
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

Everyone must be 18 or over to work.
Everyone must have valid, unexpired, unrestricted ID.
Should be local to the NYC area.
Must be comfortable wearing women’s clothing portraying a prostitute
Everyone must be ok working around atmospheric smoke.
*Men should have some length to their hair, preferably longer! No very modern haircuts, buzzcuts, fades, temple tapers, etc.
